Epic Games is trying to push Fortnite Battle Royale into the eSports world. However, there have been a lot of issues with the game, and it is not ready for a competitive play. Right now, connection issues are a big problem, and pro Fortnite players are not happy with it.

While Fortnite Battle Royale is an amazing game, it is definitely not ready for the eSports scene. Its developer will have to change something soon in order to make the game fun for professional players. At the end of the day, no online game can be enjoyed with lag issues, so hopefully Epic Games will figure out a solution for this.

Pro Fortnite players talk about tournament issues

Some of the best Fortnite players have recently talked about the issues they deal with in the tournaments. While no one expected Epic Games to have a perfect setup for a Fortnite competitive play at the very start, some things should have been changed by now.

Players had a lot of issues in Summer Skirmish, and it appeared that the Fortnite creator fixed most of them. However, many players are still dealing with lag issues. Right now, there are too many players in the final circles of Fortnite tournaments, which is the cause of this issue. The developer will have to figure out how to handle this, or how to simply change the tournament scoring so there are fewer players in the final circles.

Myth asked Epic Games to take a break from tournaments until the lag is fixed.

Ninja has also complained about the lag as he was eliminated because of it.

A few other players, such as Cloak and Poach, were also disappointed with these problems.

Epic Games’ response

Considering that many popular players have complained about the tournament, Epic Games will have to do something about these issues. While Fortnite tournaments are fun to watch, players don’t really enjoy playing them.

Additionally, it would be great if the Fortnite developer changes the scoring system. In many matches, there are over 30 players in the final circle, which is really bad. Sometimes it all comes down to luck, instead of skills, and that is now how competitive games should be.
