FIFA 19 Global Series Rankings: F2Tekkz Wins PGL FIFA 19 Cup For His Second Straight Title

Another successful esports season is underway for gamer F2Tekkz. As of just a day ago, he was able to clinch his second consecutive PGL FIFA 19 Cup. That also puts him atop the FIFA 19 Global Series rankings as he looks towards future competitions. Here’s the latest on F2Tekkz’s big victory over the past several days in the Cup, as well as a look at the later PlayStation 4 and Xbox One leaderboards.

FIFA 19 Global Series: F2Tekkz takes down the competition

A report via FIFA website indicated that the latest tournament included three world champions and a “Final Showdown” runner-up all competing. However, favorites such as 2018 Grand Finalists Ajax Dani and Marcus Gomes both found themselves eliminated in the “Swiss format” group stage of the competition. The 17-year-old wonder kid known as F2Tekkz was ready to play and take another title.

The semifinals matchups featured MegaBit vs. Jablett and then a bracket featuring F2Tekkz vs. Gorilla. The games went in favor of Megabit and the FUT Champions Cup winner F2Tekkz to set up a great Xbox One finals. F2Tekkz’s Twitter video clip (below) shows how the Xbox One finals were decided, thanks to a few legends on the field from the past and present. The young gamer used goals from the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and the all-time legend Pele in his victory.

The eSports star was again victorious to reach the Grand Final where he took on the PlayStation Console Finals winner StefanoPinna in the finale. F2Tekkz was able to capture the win over the FeWC runner-up. The win is a nice follow-up to his recent FUT Champions victory. It also gives him a second straight win in the span of about a week’s time.

With the latest victory, F2Tekkz won himself $12,000 in prize money and another 850 Global Series points. Those points are quite helpful in terms of the overall rankings for players in the Global Series.
