Young gaming sensation Donovan “F2Tekkz” Hunt has done it again! The 17-year-old esports star showed his mastery of FIFA skills over the past two days in London. As of Friday (Mar. 29), F2Tekkz won the inaugural FIFA 19 ePremier League 2019 championship. Here’s how the young talent captured the latest title on his early career resume to proudly represent Liverpool.

It would all come down to a battle between Liverpool and Manchester United for the first-ever FIFA 19 ePremier League Championship. Liverpool’s F2Tekkz won the Xbox side of the competition and would meet up with PlayStation champion, Man United’s Kyle Leese. The two gamers faced off in an intense battle to determine who would take the crown.
After they played legs on both gamers’ preferred consoles, it was F2Tekkz with a 6-2 victory in the Grand Finals. He showed his excitement after an up and down two days of competition at London’s Gfinity Arena. His mother was there to proudly witness her son making esports history as part of Premier League.
For the Xbox part of the bracket, Tekkz’s Liverpool was one of two qualifying teams from Group A. The other was iBattle Cat representing Manchester City. In the Playstation portion of things, KyleLeese__ of Manchester United would qualify from Group A along with Crystal Palace’s damie.
To get to the Grand Final, F2Tekkz had a tough path on the first day of ePremier League results. He still managed to emerge with the necessary wins. He’d win his matchups against Rusher7x and Man United’s Jonesy17FIFA to advance. On the PlayStation side, KyleLeese__ took out Deto in the first matchup of his side, and then Venny.
In the Xbox final, Tekkz needed a late goal to get the 4-3 victory over Fulham’s SCP Diogo. In the PlayStation final, it was KyleLeese__ defeating Chelsea’s Jas1875, 3-2. Liverpool celebrates inaugural FIFA 19 ePremier League title
Following the big victory, the Liverpool football club celebrated their champions win. A post on their Twitter page announced the inaugural champion representing their club in ePremier League. The big win arrives just days ahead of their Sunday clash with Tottenham on the pitch.
The inaugural FIFA ePremier League was certainly an exciting way to kick things off. Each Premier League club had their own gamer representing them proudly. However, there could only be one true champion.
At this point, one has to wonder what Donovan “F2Tekkz” can’t win. He’s now on an impressive winning run that’s included multiple FUT Championships and the first-ever ePremier League title. Gaming history continues to be paved thanks to this young esports sensation.
