Sony usually announces the list of free games for the upcoming month on the last Wednesday of the current month. So, this month, we would expect that announcement on Wednesday, July 29th.

PlayStation Plus August 2020 Free Games: August Predictions
With Windbound from Deep Silver coming out on August 28th, our first prediction is that we will get to play another game from the same developer. One idea might be Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, “a grand tale that will enchant the hearts and minds of players as it takes them on an incredible journey.”
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition is coming out on August 27th on PS4, Android, Switch and iOS. Maybe next month, Sony will make World of Final Fantasy free or another Final Fantasy related title.
Sony might not make the mistake of overloading us with simulator games again after what happened in May. Then again, we could totally see them doing just that. So, what simulator game might we be playing next month? Our pick is the humorous Surgeon Simulator which released on PS4 back in 2014.
Finally, we have Wasteland 3 coming out on August 28th. So, how about another post-apocalyptic game? One idea might be 2016’s Sheltered by Unicube. This game drew comparisons to This War of Mine.
