DICE Gives Players Another Chance to Claim the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for Free

With the release of Battlefield 5 now delayed to November, DICE’s “Road to Battlefield 5” promotional campaign has also been extended. The campaign intends to run up to the release of Battlefield 5, and has already offered fans chances to claim a variety of free content. In fact, DICE is giving gamers a second chance to claim the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for free.

Another Chance to Claim the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass

DICE already gave gamers a chance to claim the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass. That opportunity came during the Road to Battlefield 5 around two weeks ago. The event ran from the 11th to the 18th of September. Ordinarily, the Premium Pass would cost £39.99, but during that period it was free to anyone who already owned Battlefield 1. The Premium Pass includes all of the game’s post-launch content. Specifically, it includes the “They Shall Not Pass,” “In the Name of the Tsar,” “Turning Tides,” and “Apocalypse,” DLCs. In addition, the pass includes a further 16 maps, as well as plenty of extra content. This includes new operations and game modes, elite classes, vehicles, and weapons.

EA Offers the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass For Free Download Again

Now, players can claim the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for free once again. As of yesterday, the 25th of September, the pass is free. The opportunity was detailed in a news post on the official Battlefield website. The post also includes links for players to download the pass on their preferred platforms. DICE did not specify exactly when this new opportunity will come to an end. It would be reasonable to assume that it will last one week, as the previous event did.

DICE is currently running weekly map playlists and rewards for Battlefield 1 as part of the Road to Battlefield 5 campaign; “These weekly rewards are also your chance to get a head start on your Battlefield 5 gear, with ways to earn weapon skins for use in that game once it drops in November.”
