Anthem Comic Is a Mini-Series Prequel from Dark Horse

Considering how some folks out there are put-out by the thought of not having much story in Anthem, this comic may be a game-changer. This Anthem comic, created by Dark Horse, will be a prequel. A three-part miniseries prequel. One that will let readers look deeper into the world of Anthem, and see what is in store for players come February, 2019.

Regardless, as fans may be aware, Dark Horse have done a range of comics from BioWare. This includes comics from series like Dragon Age, Mass Effect and even Mass Effect: Andromeda. They have generally done well, but can we expect the same from Anthem? From the look of the front cover art, which you can see below, the quality looks fantastic.

An Awesome Look for the Anthem Comic

Thanks to ComicBook, we also know a little about what the Anthem comic is about. This new comic will tell the story of a young boy called Kismet. According to ComicBook, Kismet was rescued a Freelancer named Yarrow, who pilots an epic suit like the ones players have seen in-game. Not much more is known about Kismet, but it appears he is orphaned after the rescue, along with his sister Jani. The comic will seemingly tell their story, while looking at the rich history of Anthem’s world.

As I’ve mentioned, this comic may be great way for players to know more about Anthem’s world before they play the game. So, if you’re still unsure whether to get the game, maybe giving the comic a try would benefit you. Though you may have to wait a few days, as the comic is set to come out after the game.

Anthem is set to come out on February 22nd on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The comic is releasing on the 27th of February, 2019.
