With Anthem’s release just around the corner; Electronic Arts wants to make sure what players are going to be in for when the game comes out. As such, the company has prepared a new series of trailers that detail everything you can expect from the game. This new series is called “This is Anthem”.
This is Anthem, the gameplay trailer that explains everything.
The first part of the “This is Anthem” series focuses on the Story, Progression and Customization aspects. The Anthem trailer centers around the setting of the story, the javelins which are used for transport and combat and how they can be customized.
The video also shows some insight about what players are supposed to do on Online Co-Op. As Freelancers, groups of friends can uncover the mysteries within the world. Not only that, but the common objective among many factions is to control the Anthem of Creation. The main objective is to ensure that Dominion doesn’t get their hands on the aforementioned artifact.
In addition, the trailer also details some aspects about the Javelin suits. Players are able to unlock 4 kinds of suits which focus on Speed, Precision, Tanking, and Elemental Attacks. There’s also a customization aspect which also involves ultimate powers that are unique to the Javelin type.
Finally, we’re shown how players can take multiple main quests and side-quests. Progression is handled in a straightforward manner. However, in case players need a break, they can also explore the world to the fullest extent through Freeplay.
