Apex Legends Glitch Makes Downed Players Hop Around Like Frogs

What happens when you get downed in Apex Legends? Normally, you are fairly immobilized. You crawl off to hide somewhere and wait for help since you can’t keep fighting. But these days, there is an Apex Legends glitch which is causing some downed players to move very differently. In fact, they look like they are hopping around like frogs.

Watch the Apex Legends Glitch in Action

The frog-hopping glitch is pretty weird to see. You can watch a video of the bug in action below:

In the video, you see Lifeline, who has been downed, appearing to hop about like a frog. With each hop, Lifeline appears to hover for a moment in midair, limbs all splayed out, in a very froglike fashion. If you read through the comments, you’ll see that Wraith and Gibraltar also have been frog-hopping while downed.  It is not yet clear at this point how many other Legends may be affected, and under what circumstances. We also don’t know why this glitch has occurred, or whether Respawn is addressing it yet.

How can you make the best of this glitch? Well, the downside is that when it happens, you’re pretty conspicuous. Everyone is bound to be staring in your direction. But the upside is that your opponents may be too busy laughing to shoot straight. So, try to hop away, and see if you can hop up to a safe location, maybe somewhere strategic. Then, wait for help as usual.
