All the Weapon Updates Included in Apex Legends Legacy

Apex Legends Legacy has arrived, and with it, a major rebalancing update for both Legends and weaponry. While the Legends side of things focuses on Lifeline and removes Low Profile, the weapons update has its own list of balance changes. Alongside the new Bocek, there is a new weapon category, not to mention two new Hop Ups.

Apex Legends Legacy – The Weapon Update

The Bocek is the new weapon added in Apex Legends Legacy – a powerful bow. This weapon resides in the new Marksman weapon category, which has been created to sit between Assault Rifles and Snipers. The 30-30 Repeater, G7 Scout, and Triple-Take have all been moved into this new category. All Marksman weapons should now offer slightly faster ADS speeds than Sniper Rifles.

The Bocek can also equip two new Hop-Ups; the Deadeye’s Tempo and Shatter Caps. The Deadeye’s Tempo allows you to increase your fire rate with well-timed shots and is available for the Bocek and Sentinel. Shatter Caps, meanwhile, allow you to switch between normal fire and shatter mode, where your shots “split into a blast pattern on firing”. Shatter Caps are available for both the Bocek and 30-30 Repeater. To make space for these two Hop-Ups, the Hammerpoint and Skullpiercer Hop-Ups are being removed for the time being.

The following are the specific adjustments to the Apex Legends weapons in the Legacy update:

  • The Flatline, Havoc, and R301 have had their headshot multiplier reduced from 2 to 1.75. The Hemlok already received this change in a previous update.
