Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China Is Currently Free On The Ubisoft Store

To kick off the lunar year and build hype around its current site-wide sale, Ubisoft is offering Assassins Creed Chronicles: China for free on their digital store. Be sure to grab hold of a free copy before its gone.

Ubisoft Offers Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China For Free

Ubisoft is starting yet another sale right with the gift of an Assassin’s Creed Chronicles title. Free for anyone with a Uplay account, Chronicles: China is a spinoff for the franchise. The 2D action platformer has plenty of the spirit the other titles are known for and features a unique setting to boot. Taking place precisely where the title would suggest, players take the role of Chinese assassin Shao Jun. Naturally, there are plenty of Templars to be slain and a host of slick moves to execute, immersing fans once more in the magic of the series.

Assassin's Creed China Features Ezio's Protege

It’s easy to make a Uplay account, so why not pick up the enjoyable little title? Straight through, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China takes about six hours to beat, with a bit more meat in there for the completionists. If there’s a long afternoon to kill or simply just empty time waiting for Odyssey to install, then this is the absolute perfect game.

The deal is live until Monday, February 4, so there is clearly no time to ask questions. The Ubisoft store has made a habit of giving away free games, following along in the footsteps Origin and other publisher-specific digital retailers. It’s a smart move that satisfies fans as well as keeps them coming back to check for new content. It looks like the Year of the Pig is starting out lucky already.
