Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been out for a month, and already so much about the game has changed. But the change isn’t about to stop there. To everyone’s delight, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gear that Kassandra and Alexios can wear will be getting an update.
As players know, there are more than a couple of amazing items out there for Kassandra/Alexios to wear. You’ve got your headgear, your chest plate, and much, much more. Sometimes you’ll come across a piece of armor and decide that yes, this is the armor for you, the one that you’ll have equipped forever. Unfortunately, upgrading is a pain in the ass and can cost you a lot of money. Which means it really is easier just to grab armor as you go along.
But, according to Ubisoft themselves, a new update is coming.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gear Update: What’s The Change?
With this update, which will be coming out in the near future, players can add a visual layer on top of their gear. According to Ubisoft, “this will allow you to combine the stats of one item and the appearance of another into the same slot. You won’t have to decide between having good stats and looking good in-game.”
As someone who takes how her characters look very seriously, this news is nothing short of being incredible. For example, I loved the look of the Mercenary gear piece, but it just wasn’t worth leveling up after so long when I had legendaries that were leveled higher and was able to defend me a lot more. With this new update, everything will be much easier.
Ubisoft has also mentioned that the level cap for Odyssey will increase by 20 levels. This means that no longer will you be stuck at level 50, and XP earned before this change will be rewarded with new ability points.
