Battlefield V Pre-Order Details, Which Version Should You Buy?

Battlefield V is releasing on October 19th and as expected all the available editions and pre-oder bonuses are already detailed. Are you planning on getting the game beforehand? Which Battlefield V pre-order option should you choose?

As announced by Electronic Arts and DICE, Battlefield V will get released in two editions, standard and deluxe. In contrast with Battlefield 1, Battlefield V will not get a premium pass, however, players that get the deluxe edition of it will get their hands on a variety of special loot and assignements.

Furthermore, if you pre-order any of the two editions, you’ll be able to partake in the Battlefield V Open Beta, with deluxe edition owners getting a 3 day headstart before the game releases. That means that all Battlefield V Deluxe Edition owners will be able to start playing the game on October 16th.

Here are the two Battlefield V pre-order options:

Battlefield V Standard Edition – This bundle includes the base game. If you choose this Battlefield V pre-order option, you get early access to the open beta, special assignments, and a Special Soldier Set that can be chosen from eight available sets, plus immediate access to 5 Battlefield 1 weapons.

Battlefield V Deluxe Edition – The deluxe edition includes the game plus early access to Battlefield V, five sets of paratrooper outfits, special assignments, 20 weekly items with airlift and more. If you choose this Battlefield V pre-order option, you get early access to the open beta, special assignments, and a Special Soldier Set that can be chosen from eight available sets, plus immediate access to 5 Battlefield 1 weapons.

As for their price, the Standard Edition will cost $59.99 while the Deluxe Edition $79.99. With just a $20 increase to get all the additional loot and 3 early days of gameplay, we believe that the Delux Edition is the best-buy Battlefield V pre-order option. Whichever you choose, that would be it for the game, since DICE revealed that Battlefield V won’t be pay-to-win.
