Battlefield V Reveals Free Login Rewards to Celebrate Halloween

DICE may have released the last Battlefield V content update earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean that players can’t still get their hands on new rewards. The studio recently announced several new cosmetics which will be available as free login rewards for Halloween.

Battlefield V Halloween Login Rewards

To mark Halloween this year, DICE is giving away several new bonus items, completely free. To get your hands on them, all you need to do is login to the game at some point until the 4th of November. After that date, the rewards will no longer be available. You don’t need to do anything particular to claim the rewards in-game, like claiming them from the store, etc. Merely logging in once is enough.

The Halloween rewards this year start with the “Dead of Night” skin, which is available for Panzer IV tank. Players will also get the “Splattered” skin, which is more widely usable. This weapon skin is available to use for the Gewehr M95/30, KE-7, Sturmgewehr 1-5, and Tromboncino. Given that major content development for Battlefield V ended during the summer, it’s good to see that DICE is still producing some content for their enduring player-base, even if it’s only a little.

Battlefield V Halloween Content Revealed

Very little is known about the next Battlefield game, other than that it is currently in development. It is currently scheduled for a next-gen release sometime in 2021, but it’s unknown what the game’s setting might be. In other recent news, some footage was recently revealed of Battlefield V being played on the Xbox Series X. As one would expect, the game looks set to run better on the new console. However, a streamer who got an early look at the new console mentioned that Battlefield V was able to run at 60fps in 4K resolution. Experienced players will likely know that framerate drops are a problem on the Xbox One version of the game. However, it seems that next-gen consoles will resolve this issue.
