Battlefield V War Stories Are Ordinary People Tales As DICE Explains

DICE has shown us the first trailer for Battlefield V War Stories, the campaign mode of the upcoming franchise title. Nordly’s War story is one of many that will depict “Extraordinary Stories of Ordinary People” during World War 2 as the company states.

In the case of Nordly’s, DICE reveals that there will be multiple scenarios and situations that you will have to face as a players. Infiltration, stealth and driving through the frozen Scandinavian landscapes will be part of this chapter’s gimmicks.

All Battlefield V War Stories will be a different story, true and ordinary as DICE reveals. All the stories are told the Battlefield way but include a strong emotional feeling. Think of it as a different narrative story each time, with the fighting system only remaining the same. DICE points out:

During the research for Battlefield V, one thing has repeatedly become apparent: history is right among us. Sometimes far away, sometimes just around the corner – like for the DICE team in Stockholm, Sweden, and their neighbor Norway. The stories are also close on a more human level; it’s striking how often ordinary people were in the heart of these conflicts.

One more impressive aspect of Battlefield V War Stories is that all chapters will be “human”. This means that no super crazy abilities will be needed to pass the stage, rather than experience the story of it all.

We have no idea about what the other Battlefield V War Stories may include. We have some theories about some of the settings we might se in the game but none is confirmed by DICE, so we’re all hanging by a thread. We shall now how the mode holds up in reality when the game releases on October 19th, with EA Access users having one week head start, being able to play from October 11th.
