Bethesda Holds Huge Sale Across All Platforms to Mark QuakeCon

QuakeCon 2018 has now begun, and Bethesda is marking the occasion with a huge, multi-platform sale spanning every one of their franchises. The Bethesda sale is active now on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Live Store. Almost everything in the company’s catalog is currently discounted.

The Multi-Platform Bethesda Sale

The sale is available from now until the 13th of August, when QuakeCon comes to an end. The event is actually coinciding with a Free Play event for The Elder Scrolls Online; giving fans who play the game for free a chance to buy the game as well at a notable discount. On Steam, most of the company’s core properties are on sale for around 50-60% off, including Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Doom. Meanwhile, the series’ respective VR releases; Skyrim VR, Fallout 4 VR, and Doom VFR, are also on sale, each for 30% off. The sale also extends to DLC and special edition releases, including standalone releases such as Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.

Fallout 4 VR and Other Titles are Included in the Bethesda Sale

Similar discounts are being offered on other platforms besides Steam, too. The sale extends to both the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Store. For fans looking to pick up one of Bethesda’s games cheaply, this is an ideal opportunity; not only are the studio’s older titles discounted, but so are the most recent games and their downloadable content. A variety of sale bundles are being offered as well, such as the entire Dishonored series on Steam for 50% off.

QuakeCon only lasts for four days; thus, gamers hoping to take advantage of the sale should act quickly over the weekend. Similarly, fans should keep an eye out for QuakeCon news on Friday and Saturday, when the majority of panels and events are scheduled to take place. Doom Eternal is being headlined as the main event, while there will also be a Fallout 76 panel on Saturday.
