Exploits Will Get You Banned In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4

It’s not too long ago that Black Ops 4 launched, to success nonetheless. But players have already found ways to ruin the fun for others. Exploits have been an issue for a while in Black Ops 4. One of the most notorious ones have been the emotes exploit in Blackout, where players would use emotes to unfairly spot other players. Treyarch has promised to come down hard on exploiters and cheaters with the new update, promising a range of punishments.

According to a post on Reddit by the devs, players have been using an exploit that allows multiple copies of the same perk to be equipped in multiplayer. Until the exploit is fixed, abusing an exploit in-game still makes you subject to penalties. Presumably these penalties still count in the future as well.

According to Treyarch there are two tiers of punishments:

  • First offense: Players will be temporarily suspended from the online game and will have their Stats, Emblems and Paintjobs reset. Online splitscreen privileges will be revoked, and Leaderboeard entries will be deleted.
  • Extreme or repeat offenses: Player will be permanently suspended from playing the game online. Stats, Emblems and Paintjobs will be reset, and player will be permanently blocked from appearing on Leaderboards.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Bans Exploits

With a game that is entirely focused on multiplayer, it feels more fitting than ever to come down hard on cheaters. Using exploits is always cheap against those who play legit. So please, whatever you do, don’t use exploits. It’s just not worth it.

Other recent updates to the game include the Black Market which adds a tier progression system and seasonal events, such as the Halloween event going on right now. So now is a better time than any to jump in and get some frags. Just make sure you do it legit.
