Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Perks Teased By Treyarch

The gossip surrounding Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 continues to percolate, from not including a traditional single-player component to a Switch version with a Battle Royale-only mode, the rumor train is going full steam ahead. That said, the latest intel is a tease that comes straight from Treyarch themselves and suggests that a certain handful of Perks will possibly make a return in the game’s super popular multiplayer suite.

Surprisingly, a rumor that’s been making the rounds has been the suggestion that Treyarch may’ve completely removed Perks from its upcoming FPS. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Such a drastic move sounds improbable but not impossible, though the latest tidbit of information that’s got a lot of fans talking is the following tweet from Treyarch Studios’ official twitter account that puts to bed the rumors surrounding the removal of the well-known Perk system from Black Ops 4:

Four Perk icons were teased and from the looks of things – and this is just speculation on our parts – they seemingly appear to be (from left to right): Dexterity, Fast Hands, Scavenger and Extreme Conditioning. For those unfamiliar, Dexterity usually allows players to mantle objects faster and reduces the time it takes to raise the player’s weapon after sprinting. Fast Hands allows players to reload while sprinting, and swap weapons faster. Scavenger allows players to gather more ammo and supplies from the bodies of dead soldiers. Finally, Extreme Conditioning – or possibly Dead Silence – either allows players to run for longer, or enables players to move silently around the map. But what do you all think? Are we barking up the wrong tree or could we be on the money?

Nevertheless, what we do know for certain is that Black Ops 4 is slated to release slightly earlier this year, on the 12th October. This may be due to Activision choosing to avoid going head-to-head with Rockstar’s much anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2, which is scheduled to launch in late October. We also definitely know that we’ll find out lots more at the Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 reveal event on May 17th.
