Just two days remain before the upcoming launch of Season 2 for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. As the start date of the 25th of February approaches, Activision has released another trailer; this time teasing the forthcoming Season 2 Battle Pass and the content players can expect to get from it.
Black Ops Cold War Season 2 – Battle Pass
As expected, the first new Operator of Season 2 is tied to the Battle Pass, just like in past Seasons. Naga, the Perseus smuggler and former warlord, can be unlocked by purchasing the new Battle Pass. He isn’t the only reward you get for acquiring the Battle Pass however. At Tier 0, you’ll also get Park’s new “Survivor” Operator Skin, as well as an Operator Mission. Complete its four objectives to unlock the “Autumn” and “Solstice” skins, an Emblem, a Calling Card, and an XP boost. Tier 0 will also reward you with the Wellington Safari Watch and a 10% increase to all the XP you earn during the entire season!
Two of the six new weapons coming in Season 2 will also feature in the rewards of the Battle Pass. As per usual, these weapons feature in the free tiers of the Pass, so you don’t need to purchase the Premium tiers in order to access them. The first new weapon is the Fara 83 assault rifle, which players can unlock at Tier 15. After that, the lightweight LC10 SMG unlocks at Tier 31. Of course, players can also expect the usual range of new weapon blueprints, cosmetics, Operator skins, and so on to also feature throughout the other tiers of the Season 2 Battle Pass.
At Tier 100 of the upcoming pass, players can look forward to Naga’s “Warlord” skin, along with a mission for the new Operator. Complete it to unlock two more skins for Naga – “Rare Breed” and “River Wraith”. Reaching Tier 100 will also earn you the “Poison Dart” Legendary SMG Blueprint. Based on the new LC10, the Poison Dart is a lethal silenced weapon which includes a Vandal Speed Loader. As a result, reloading this weapon will take little more than a single second!
