Borderlands 3 Loot the Universe Event Heads to Promethea Tomorrow

Loot the Universe, the new four-week Borderlands 3 mini-event series, has now been active for almost a week. As such, its focus will shift tomorrow from Pandora to Promethea, giving players a variety of new loot bonuses while playing on the densely-urban planet. This event will be active for a full week before heading off to Eden-6 for week 3.

Borderlands 3 Loot the Universe on Promethea

Following on from the series of week-long mini-events last month, Gearbox recently launched a new four-week event called Loot the Universe. Each week, this event heads to one of the game’s original four planets and implements a range of increases to the local loot. As such, gamers playing on that planet will find that more Legendary gear is dropping from enemies, for example. For the last week, Loot the Universe has been active on Pandora. However, from 9:00 AM PT tomorrow, the 30th of April, the event will be heading to Promethea.

Borderlands 3 Loot the Universe Goes to Promethea

During Loot the Universe, the chance of Legendary gear dropping in will be increased all across Promethea. However, this increase is more specific than it sounds. Each of Promethea’s different areas will be more likely to drop a specific type of loot. Players might find more Legendary SMGs in the Meridian Metroplex, for example, while more Legendary Class Mods might drop in the Atlas HQ. Gearbox isn’t revealing what the specific gear types found in each area will be; players will have to find this out for themselves.

Loot the Universe’s week on Promethea will end at 8:59 AM PT on the 7th of May. Immediately after that, the event will shift over to Eden-6. Nekrotafeyo will be the last of the four planets to feature in the event, from the 14th to the 21st of May. Of course, this is the smaller of the two events currently active in Borderlands 3; Revenge of the Cartels is a much larger seasonal event and will remain active until early-June.
