Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel In Summer Games Done Quick 2018

Summer Games Done Quick 2018 is currently going through its fourth day and has already given us some incredible video game marathons. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is another one of the games challenged to their fastest completion ever and we cannot wait to see how it will turn out.

For anyone who is not familiar with SGDQ, it is a charity event where selected gamers are challenged to complete certain games as quickly as possible. SGDQ has managed to raise over $129 million dollars for charities since 2010. Moreover, this years’ SGDQ is available on Twitch, live streaming from June 24 until July 1. It is currently on its fourth day, has raised a total of $565,000 up until now, and keeps going.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is among the games chosen for this years’ SGDQ. It is scheduled on this Friday June 29 and you can check out its exact starting time converted to your local time here. The players chosen to take up this challenge are Shockwve and Amyrlinn. They will play Borderlands on PC and they will have two hours and twenty minutes available to complete it.

SGDQ is quiet challenging considering the amount of time given to players to complete video games, which total completion time requires many hours of playing. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is among those long video games. Its fastest PC total completion time is six whole hours, meaning that these two agreed to a seemingly impossible challenge.

However, we have already witnessed some of the greatest and fastest video game completion at SGDQ. It is extremely possible that Shockwve and Amyrlinn will manage to do the unthinkable and offer us some great thrills in the process. Some notable runs from the last three days you should definitely watch are the following:

  • Resident Evil 4
  • Resident Evil HD Remaster
  • Doom 2016
  • F.E.A.R.
