Bungie is Recruiting Destiny Players for Community Summit This Year

Last year, Bungie hosted a community summit at their studios and invited a bunch of known Destiny YouTubers to discuss the future of Destiny 2 and how they can improve the base game. Obviously, invited individuals were able to play the new game we got Gambit. Well, this year, Bungie is hosting another community summit and there is a change of plans this time.

Destiny 2 Community Summit

Over on Reddit, Cozmo (Community Manager at Bungie) posted a thread announcing they will be recruiting random players on Reddit to join this year’s community summit. Here’s what he said in his post:

Greetings DTG Reddit,

We are inviting a few guests from the community to the studio in a few weeks to check out what we’re working on for this fall and give us some feedback. We have done this in the past, but this time we wanted to offer a couple of spots to players in the community who may not be as well known by us. If you are available from July 8 to July 11, reply below with 100 words on why you would like to visit Bungie and give your feedback on Destiny 2. Don’t include any personal information, but let us know what region you live in.

We aren’t looking for the hardest core player, or most hours played, just give us your honest thoughts. We have one spot for reddit so this is more or less a Wonka style golden ticket. If chosen, we will cover your travel, hotel, and feed you some bread while you’re here.

This post will stay up for the next 24 hours and then we will chose someone. We will let them decide if they want to tell the community they were chosen.

Good luck!

Edit: Sorry one more thing. You must be 18 or over to be chosen.

Destiny 2 Community Summit by Bungie

So, it’s clear that you’ll have to be 18 years or older to be a part of this summit if you’re lucky enough to get chosen. Every requirement is mentioned above. But there is only ONE spot for Reddit users. So, that’s kind of a bummer.

This Community Summit will be held on July 8, 2019, through July 11, 2019 (according to Reddit). Good Luck, Guardians!
