Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 COD Points are now available for purchase within the game. The points, for those who don’t know, are this series’ version of microtransactions. They are only able to be bought with real world currency. Thankfully, the items that can be purchased with the points provide only cosmetic changes and nothing gameplay-wise.
However, this news does come with some caveats. For one, the Black Ops 4 COD Points currently only look to be available on PS4. Xbox One and PC players will probably have to wait a little bit longer in order to purchase them. More importantly, though, there still isn’t anything you can do with the points.
Despite having the Black Market go live recently, the Black Ops 4 COD Points still are pretty useless. You can purchase them with real money right now on PS4 but it’s pointless to do that. However, this does show that Activision will most likely release this game’s version of Supply Drops very soon. It is possible that the drops will go live on PS4 first before the other platforms.
