Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Will be Playable at CWL Anaheim Open

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is going to be playable at an upcoming tournament that you may want to make plans to attend. The $200,000 CWL Anaheim Open will indeed play host to the new Call of Duty game, with playable multiplayer that you can feast your eyes on, so if you absolutely can’t wait to give it a try, this may be your best chance to do so.

The annual event is an important part of the Call of Duty community, and it attracts tons of teams and other members of the eSports community, so it’s no surprise that we’ll likely find plenty of fans making a pilgrimage to try the new Call of Duty out. There will be over 160 teams from around the world stationed at the Anaheim Convention Center while this is going on, all vying for a $200,000 prize pool and pro points to pick up. Not too shabby.

But obviously, the real draw is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer event that players will be privy to. For many, this is going to be the first time anyone has actually put their hands on the game — outside of the early community reveal, of course. The event originally took place in mid-May, and Treyarch let tons of new information fly about the game, which had folks extremely excited about what’s coming next, such as the new “Blackout” battle royale mode, and new Zombies narrative.

There will be a special PlayStation booth to play the game at, but there aren’t any details at present on what exactly you’ll need to do to get to play it, or what time it’ll be available. CWL Anaheim runs from Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17, so there should be plenty of opportunities to try the game out. You might want to clear your calendar for a trip over to play!
