Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Vs Battlefield V Announcement Show-Off

Over the past weeks, both Activision and Electronic Arts have announced the release of the next titles in their famous FPS franchises. Before E3 2018 where the games will both be showcased and possibly have a playable demo, its time to see which suits you more, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Vs Battlefield V style.

Overall, it all comes down to what type of game you want to play when it comes to this Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Vs Battlefield V show-off. The one is a war game while the other is a classic FPS title. Both games have their own dedicated community so both will become popular really quick. Before you choose which title you’ll try this fall you should check their:

Reveal Trailer

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 didn’t actually have a reveal trailer but instead featured several individual ones covering each of its modes. On the other hand, Battlefield V has a short but sweet reveal trailer, covering almost all of its features, graphic fidelity and characters so that you know that it does look FPS-y but can also have grand war battle scenes. Each franchise has its own theme this year, taking different turns to their FPS style.

Gameplay

As far as gameplay goes, we won’t know for sure before the games actually release. If you are more into classic shooters and have a soft spot for the Black Ops series then Call of Duty is the way to go. If, on the other hand, you want to experience huge battles and feel the heat of war, choose Battlefield V, which promises to be a title that the franchise has never seen.

Modes

Battlefield V hasn’t revealed any new modes that seem completely out of the blue. DICE is sticking with the “old but gold” features that work with the franchise well, making the franchise’s war have more impact than just pure gun fights. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a more versatile one. With no campaign this year, BO4 is a title you’ll want to come back to often since it now gets a battle royale mode, a PvE zombies mode and a classic multiplayer which is heavily inspired by BO3.

Coming down to a verdict, if you want more variety and a classic FPS experience then you’ll most likely want to get Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Battlefield V is bound to be a huge title but it won’t rely mostly on its FPS experience other than create the feeling of being in World War 2 while keeping everything will loved in Battlefield 1 somewhere along the lines.
