Call of Duty League Cosmetics Launch Tomorrow in Modern Warfare

The Call of Duty League, the huge global esports competition which will be taking place throughout 2020, is on the verge of starting; the first live event will be taking place in Minnesota this weekend. To mark the start of the tournament, Infinity Ward will soon be adding a new range of Call of Duty League cosmetics to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare tomorrow. These will be available in Store Bundles from the 24th of January.

The New Call of Duty League Cosmetics in Modern Warfare

For players who want to support their League teams in-game, a series of Call of Duty League cosmetics will soon be available via Modern Warfare Store bundles. Each of these bundles includes a large selection of cosmetics. (Of course, each is themed after one of the twelve pro teams competing in the League.) The Minnesota Røkkr team bundle, for example, includes two different Operator Skins, as well as a Watch, Camo, Charm, Sticker, Calling Card, Emblem, and Spray.

All of these new Store bundles will be available tomorrow, on the 24th of January; the same day that the League officially starts with the Minnesota Home Series. (The first of twelve live events, with one hosted by each of the twelve pro teams in their home cities.) That three-day event will feature all of those twelve pro teams competing, as well as the first Challenger’s Tournament; an opportunity for the best non-pro Call of Duty players to compete in the Tournament themselves.

Of course, this isn’t the only new content to arrive in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare this week. Infinity Ward recently launched the new Crossbow weapon, which is now available for players to unlock. Until the start of Season 2 in early February, and to make up for a delay to its start date, all players are also currently benefitting from double XP.
