Ever since the reveal of the latest Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay video, CD Projekt Red has been relatively quiet when it comes to their upcoming title. Given all the new games coming out from September – November, that’s not really surprising; no doubt fans will start to hear more after Christmas. However, in the meanwhile, the studio has announced a new Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Contest, challenging fans to find and photograph Cyberpunk-style locations. The winners of this contest could get everything from Collector’s Editions of the game to a top-of-the-range NVIDIA GPU!
The New Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Contest
“The world of Cyberpunk is closer than you think,” says CD Projekt Red; “Grab a camera, capture the dark future all around you, and let everyone see the Cyberpunk side of your neighbourhood for a chance to win one of our prizes”. This new Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Contest is now open, and participants can submit photographs until 23:59 CET on the 16th of December. According to the contest guidelines, the studio is looking for a; “photograph of a real-world location that has a Cyberpunk look and/or feel.”
Submissions in this contest will go into an online gallery where anybody can vote on their favourites. When the contest concludes, the Top 10 community-voted entries will win prizes. Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red’s own jury will also select three Top Prize Winners. Anybody who makes it into the top 10 for community voting will get a Cyberpunk swag bag. However, the entry which wins 1st place in community voting will also win a Collector’s Edition of Cyberpunk 2077, a VIP Bomber Jacket, a license for Adobe Creative Cloud, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti; one of the most powerful NVIDIA GPUs on the market.
When it comes to CD Projekt Red’s jury selection, the third place entrant will get the game’s Collector’s Edition, a swag bag, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 S. Second place will get all of that plus an Adobe Creative Cloud license. Finally, 1st place will get the same prizes as 1st place for community voting.
