Celebrate Memorial Day With Fortnite’s New Item Shop Update and Emote

It’s Memorial Day, which means you’re likely celebrating your loved ones or spending it outside grilling with friends and family. But you probably also have the day off from work, so you’re spending a bit of time on Fortnite too, right? If you’re kicking back with Fortnite and enjoying some homecooked burgers from the grill, you might also want to pop into the Item Shop for a nice, new goodie just in time for all the special Memorial Day festivities.

The item shop has been updated today to add a new emote to the regular selection typically available: it’s called the Dip! For just 200 V-Bucks, you can pick it up and get to your regularly-scheduled Fortnite marathons with a brand new way to communicate with other players. You can see it in action below.

If that’s not caatching your eye, here’s everything else you can pick up today with the latest Item Shop update. Plenty of outfits and weapons you can choose from, as always. Notice there isn’t any beer or hot dogs on the list — you’ll have to bring all that yourself.

Everything is pretty affordable, and while Epic Games hasn’t announced how long the “Dip” emote will be available, it will likely be up for grabs for a limited time like the rest of the catalogue typically is.
