Check Out the New Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist Gameplay Trailer and Details Here

Bandai Namco has released the latest trailer for Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist. Debuted during New York Comic Con 2018 last weekend, this trailer showcases more of the action gameplay. We get to see various characters, both human investigators and the titular Ghouls, duke it out in this action title. The game is a video game adaptation of the popular mature manga and anime series.

In particular, it seems that Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist is a more direct adaptation of the hit anime from Studio Pierrot. This title is the first non-mobile game from the franchise to make its way to the West, courtesy of Bandai Namco. In it, players will have the opportunity to pick their side: Ghouls or the CCG investigators.

Both sides are vastly different, offering different play styles from melee to guns. As a Ghoul, players must master their Kagune in order to take down enemies. However, as a human investigator, you will need to best utilize your Quinque – taken from the remains of a Ghoul – to fight against opponents. You can check out the gameplay trailer above and see characters like Touka and Amon in action.

Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist will draw from all completed seasons of the anime for its roster of fighters. It takes characters from the first season, season two Root A, and the titular third season :re. As such, the game will definitely contain spoilers for season three if you aren’t caught up with it. The show just recently started its fourth and final season so now is the perfect time to jump in.

Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist will also have online multiplayer as we mentioned previously. We now have even more details on it, though. Very similar to Black Clover: Quartet Knights, this game will have four on four multiplayer battles. The twist in this game, though, is that they will Ghouls versus investigators.
