The image above shows the email which some PSN users are reporting they have received. The subject line states, “Here’s $10 on us + special PS Store deal.” As you can see in the image, the discount expires on October 5th at 11:59 PM PT. There is no minimum purchase requirement. Additionally, below that it states that if you purchase two or more select games, you can receive a $15 store credit instead.
Who is this offer being sent to? For starters, we know that it is only available in the US. Those shopping in other regions cannot receive the coupon. Beyond that, right now nobody knows why some users are getting the offer and others are not. It seems to be fairly exclusive though, since only a minority of gamers have reported the offer appearing in their inboxes.
So be sure to check your inbox, including your updates and promotions tabs as well as your spam folder. If you are one of the lucky few to receive the offer, don’t miss out! Head on over to the PlayStation store and enjoy $10 off. Pair it up with the flash sale discounts if you can for added savings. But remember that the $10 coupon expires later than the flash sale (which ends on September 24th), so even if you miss the sale, you can still use your coupon.
