COD: Black Ops Cold War Update to Fix Ring of Fire

Not happy about some of the recent changes resulting from the latest Black Ops Cold War update? You are not the only one. In particular, many gamers are peeved about what has happened to the Ring of Fire in Zombies mode. Thankfully, it looks like this problem is short-term in nature. In fact, it was not even supposed to happen at all. Let’s take a look at what Treyarch had to say about the update and their plans to reverse the Ring of Fire changes.

COD: Black Ops Cold War Update to Fix Ring of Fire is On the Way

Treyarch Studios made the following tweet:

The tweet lists the patch notes. Treyarch then tweeted, “#Zombies update: The Ray Gun ammo cost was corrected to match its Ultra rarity, but Ring of Fire was unintentionally affected and will be fixed in an upcoming update. By design, Ring of Fire should pull from the stock ammo of any weapon as long as there’s stock available.”

Needless to say, the response from the community of Black Ops Cold War players was a tidal wave of gratitude. What we still don’t know at this point is how long we will need to wait for the fix for the Ring of Fire. But assuming that the reversal will be part of the next update, we might expect the Ring of Fire to be back to normal by next week. Let’s hope it happens even sooner if possible!
