Every Confirmed Hero In Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

Although Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3’s announcement trailer has provided a sample of what’s to come, eager fans have been feverishly digging through each frame of the trailer for bits and pieces of information on the game. From that trailer alone the inclusion of several heroes has been confirmed, offering at least some satisfaction for those who have excavated every possible detail. Below are all the heroes whose presence has been confirmed in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.

Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch Rocks Her Classic Red Look

The addition of one of Magneto’s super-powered children makes sense, especially when considering her presence in the recent Avengers films. Scarlet Witch can be seen hovering in her traditional red caped costume in the announcement trailer. This will be her first appearance in the Ultimate Alliance franchise, making her entrance a welcome one.

Guardians of the Galaxy

The Guardians of The Galaxy Will Take On Thanos Once Again

Another obvious inclusion to the game are the Guardians of the Galaxy, who seemed right at home as their feature role in the trailer was revealed. The natural enemies of Thanos make a completely sensible addition to the roster, as well as a potentially fun one. The brash heroes will make their Ultimate Alliance debut in this entry, and Gamora’s sister Nebula will be included as well.

The Avengers

The Avengers Are An Essential Team But Where Is Hawkeye

Of course, what entry in the Ultimate Alliance series would be complete without the quintessential Avengers? Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Nick Fury will all be featured. Interestingly enough, despite the Black Order being a newer presence in the Marvel Universe, the heroes are all sporting their classic outfits, such as Thor’s winged helm.

Spider-Man

Spider-Man Slings His Way Across New York and Into The Game

The web-slinger is yet another must-have on the Ultimate Alliance checklist. Spider-Man was front and center on the last two titles’ covers, and even if he isn’t in the upcoming cover art he’s still almost guaranteed to steal the show. Seen in the trailer swooping in to handle escaped convicts, his appearance is minimal, but that is probably no proper indicator as too his larger role in the game. Furthermore, a number of Spidey’s foes are featured in the trailer, alluding to plenty of appearances from one of New York’s finest heroes.

Wolverine

Wolverine's Classic Costume Makes A Return

In a battle outside of X-Mansion, Wolverine can be seen taking the fight to several Sentinels alongside other heroes. Although those other combatants don’t appear to be X-Men their presence can’t entirely be counted out, as prominent mutants such as Colossus and Nightcrawler have been featured in past titles. That fact along with the inclusion of the Sentinels means we could very well see other members of Professor Xavier’s elite team in the game as well.

Falcon

Falcon's Relevance In The Movies Earned Him A Spot In Ultimate Alliance 3

Another hero who has gained notoriety largely thanks to his presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Falcon swoops in to join the fight. His regular team-ups with Captain America and the rest of the Avengers make him a perfect pick to add to the Ultimate Alliance 3 cast list. His various gadgets will let him take to the skies and offer plenty of aerial support for the rest of the heroes.

Crystal & Lockjaw

Lockjaw Enjoys A Nice Refresher From Crystal

Marvel’s resident good boy and loveable face, Lockjaw the teleporting bulldog will also be in Ultimate Alliance 3. The appearance of the Inhuman Royal Family’s loyal companions makes sense, as he was in Infinity, the comic in which the Black Order made their first appearance. Using the prong on his head to teleport, disrupt energy fields, and more, Lockjaw’s uplifting presence is a welcome one.

Crystal can be spotted near the unmissable Lockjaw, whom she is frequently with. The Inhuman’s powers of elemental control will offer players the ability to wield air, fire, electricity, water, earth, and metal. Essentially Aang in the Marvel Universe, Crystal’s powers will no doubt make for a colorful display with each flurry of attacks.
