In just a few days, Treyarch will be launching Season 2 in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone. The launch looks set to be just as large, if not larger, than Season 1, with a whole host of new content coming to both games. Among that content is the Death Machine, an all-new Scorestreak.
New Scorestreaks & More in Black Ops Cold War Season 2
The Death Machine Scorestreak first appeared in the Call of Duty series in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. Now, the formidable weapon will be making its return. The Death Machine is a portable minigun which has an extremely high rate of fire and very high damage. Needless to say, it will make short work of almost anything you point it at, whether it be enemy players, vehicles, or enemy Scorestreaks. (Even flying ones!)
In addition to its arrival as a Scorestreak, the Death Machine will also appear as a Support Weapon in Zombies. This includes both Die Maschine and Firebase Z, along with the new Outbreak experience. As it happens, the Death Machine isn’t the only new thing which will be available in Outbreak. Two new vehicles will also be available to help players get around the wide expanse of Outbreak’s map. Both of these vehicles are unarmed, serving purely as light transport vehicles for players to get around in.
The first of these vehicles is a simple Sedan. According to Activision, this vehicle is an; “old, yet surprisingly reliable Eastern Bloc sedan”. The car has enough seats for an entire squad and can be effective at running down zombies. The Light Truck is also effective in this regard, serving as a similar four-person transport vehicle, although it performs better off-road than the Sedan. Additionally, since the Light Truck lacks a roof, players have wider lines of sight when shooting out.
