Delayed Nintendo Direct Officially Confirmed for Tomorrow, September 13

The September Nintendo Direct is finally happening. After some heavy rumors yesterday, Nintendo of America has officially confirmed that the delayed Nintendo Direct from last week will be happening tomorrow on Thursday, September 13, 2018. The wait is almost over, as the Direct will happen at its original scheduled time of 3 pm PT, 6 pm ET. This will make it very late for those of you overseas.

The announcement of the Nintendo Direct airing on September 13 isn’t the only information we have, either. Nintendo has officially teased some other news regarding what will be present in the Direct itself. We now know that the Nintendo Switch Online Service will be getting some new details in the Direct tomorrow ahead of its official launch next week on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

We aren’t sure what exactly will be shown off, however, it will most likely be an overview of what we already know like pricing in addition to new NES games that will be offered for free. It is possible that there will be a game launching right after the Direct being that it is Thursday. The best candidate for that would be Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD, which already launched for PS4 and Xbox One.

The September 13 Nintendo Direct is still set to run for around 35 minutes and focus on both 3DS and Switch games during that time. We have already run down our list of predictions that we are pretty certain will happen as well as our pie-in-the-sky dreams for what could be announced during the Direct. You can find all of that right here.

You can see the September 13 Nintendo Direct stream above so be sure to come back here at 3 pm PT (check your local time zone) in order to enjoy all of the goodies that will be revealed tomorrow during the presentation.
