Destiny 2: The Best Super Abilities To Use In the Crucible

Destiny 2 is a game of interstellar abilities that contain aliens, robots and planet-eating space ships. When it comes to our main protagonists – Guardians, they have some very unique abilities under their belts. Let’s start with Grenade abilities; every subclass has three types of grenades. Other than that, each subclass comes with three types of jump mechanics as well. Some of them are Strafe Jump, High Jump, and Triple Jump. Today, we’ll be discussing the best super abilities you can use inside of PvP.

Best Super Abilities in PvP

First off, let’s start with the supers abilities that are good in PvP.

1. Striker

Destiny 2 best super abilities

Fist of Havoc is a Titan’s Arc subclass that comes with you slamming the ground with your fist. It’s a really great Super for clearing ads and Guardians inside the Crucible. In this subclass; we’re talking about Code of the Juggernaut tree. Basically, it allows you to regenerate your super every time you get a kill with Fists of Havoc.

Frontal Assault – strike an enemy with this melee ability to reload your weapon and increase your weapon stability.
Reversal – melee kills immediately trigger health regeneration.
Knockout – critically wounding an enemy or breaking their shields increases your melee range and damage.
Trample – killing enemies with Fists of Havoc extends its duration.

2. Sunbreaker

Destiny 2 best super abilities

On number two, we’ve got another Titan subclass ability called Sunbreaker. It’s the Solar subclass which allows you to throw Hammer of Sol which then explodes on impact. For this subclass, the top tree Code of the Fire-forged is the best. It grants you and your allies to bonus movement and reloads speed.

Hammer Strike – While sprinting, use this Melee Ability to unleash a blazing Hammer strike that weakens enemies.
Tempered Metal – Solar Ability kills grant you and nearby allies bonus movement and reload speed.
Battle-Forge – Enemies killed by Hammer of Sol explode.
Vulcan’s Rage – Hammers shatter into explosive molten embers on impact.

3. Arcstrider

Destiny 2 best super abilities

This time, we have Hunter’s arc subclass called Arcstrider. Way of the Wind is probably the best one to use since you’ll be regenerating almost everything with kills.

  • Disorienting Blow – striking an enemy with this debilitating melee attack. disorients the target. Killing a target with Disorienting Blow instantly recharges it.
  • Lightning Reflexes – take less damage while dodging with Arc Staff active.
  • Battle Meditation – when critically wounded, melee and grenade skills recharge faster.
  • Focused Breathing – sprinting reduces dodge cooldown, increased sprint speed.

4. Stormcaller

Destiny 2 best super abilities

Stormcaller has been the go-to Super ability since Destiny 1. With the right build, you can even get 7th Column with this subclass ability. Attunement of Ions is the best against PvP combatants since it allows you teleport while in your Super ability.

Chain Lightning – Deliver an electrocuting Arc melee strike at an extended range that chains from the struck target to another enemy nearby.
Transcendence – When casting with the full grenade and melee energy, Stormtrance lasts longer and fully restores health.
Arc Web – Enemies Damaged by your grenades chain deadly lightning to nearby enemies.
Ionic Blink – Press the Sprint button to teleport during Stormtrance.

Keep in mind, when it comes to the PvP, roaming supers must be your top priority. You can also use other super abilities like Golden Gun, Nova Warp, and Sentinel shield if you want to have fun in the Crucible.
