Destiny 2’s Season of Opulence officially arrives on Tuesday, June 4, bringing with it a new raid experience. However, for the remainder of the current Season of the Drifter, Bungie is offering triple Infamy points in Gambit. If you’re looking to reset your Infamy rank one last time before season’s end, now’s your chance.
Destiny 2 Final Season Six Triple Infamy Period

Bungie community manager Dmg04 confirmed the final Season of the Drifter triple Infamy period via Twitter. The triple Infamy is live as of today, May 28, and will remain so until next week’s reset. That means Destiny 2 players can earn triple Infamy up to the June 4 launch of Season of Opulence.
Triple Infamy should help more casual players reach the maximum Infamy rank so they can “reset” it. Similar to Call of Duty’s prestige system, Infamy rank resets unlock unique perks for dedicated Gambit players. The Season of the Drifter Gambit pinnacle weapon, 21% Delirium, requires at least one Infamy rank reset. 21% Delirium will remain available beyond Season of the Drifter, but it’s naturally easier to get with triple Infamy.
The triple Infamy applies not only to Gambit matches but also to The Drifter’s selection of bounties. Most of The Drifter’s bounties apply to Gambit and/or Gambit Prime, but not all. In fact, Destiny 2 players with multiple endgame characters can really clean up without ever setting foot in Gambit. Certain Drifter bounties involve performing non-Gambit tasks, and yet they still award Infamy points upon completion. If a player has three endgame characters, they can earn 1,800 Infamy points per day by completing the non-Gambit bounties.
Resetting your Infamy rank still takes a little effort during triple Infamy, but it’s more than doable for casual players. On average, it only takes about 2-3 days of playing Gambit and completing Drifter bounties. If you’ve been eyeing 21% Delirium or any other Gambit rewards, now’s the time to act.
