Destiny 2 Forsaken: All Iron Banner Weekly Bounties

Now that the first post-Forsaken iteration of Destiny 2’s Iron Banner event is live, participants can see just how skilled they are (and earn some sweet loot in the process) by completing a series of seven weekly bounties. Below, we have outlined each of the bounties and their requirements along with what you’ll earn for completing them.

Things to Note

All of the below bounties are weekly which means you have the entire duration of the event to complete them. If you’re not very confident in your own Destiny 2 PvP skills, it might be better to wait until a few days have passed since by then most of the more hardcore players will have completed their bounties and (hopefully) moved on to other pursuits.

Also note that completing each bounty will also allow you to directly purchase specific pieces of Iron Banner gear in case you want to use your bounty rewards as infusion fuel. In addition to the bounty rewards, you can also earn Iron Banner gear as post-match drops and via reputation tokens so even if you don’t manage to finish all of the bounties, you should at least earn a few pieces of gear for your efforts if you keep consistently playing the Iron Banner event.

One final note: most of the Iron Banner bounties have a ‘Legendary Gear’ reward which will likely not be an upgrade if your power level is already fairly high (around 520 and higher). However, the two final bounties both drop a ‘Powerful Gear’ reward which has a much higher chance of being an upgrade, though they are also the two hardest bounties to complete.

Bounties

  • Lightbearer: Earn a piece of Legendary Gear by landing 25 final blows with your super attack.
  • In the Zone: Capture a total of 50 control points across any number of matches to earn a piece of Legendary Gear.
  • Iron in the Blood: What is perhaps the easiest bounty (in terms of what it asks of the player) involves completing a total of 30 matches to earn a piece of Legendary Gear.
  • Shine On: Generate a total of 100 Orbs of Light and another piece of Legendary Gear will be yours.
  • Iron Victory: If you can secure 10 Iron Banner match wins, you’ll earn yet another piece of Legendary Gear
  • To Be Precise: The first Powerful Gear bounty requires you to land a total of 100 precision final blows (i.e. headshots).
  • Unrelenting: The second Powerful Gear bounty tasks you with landing a total of 15 final blows while your team has a Power Play (i.e. controls all three capture points). The capture points will lock for 30 seconds when a Power Play occurs, giving you a little time to rack up as many kills as you can.

If the Iron Banner isn’t your cup of tea, the recent completion of Destiny 2’s Last Wish raid also opened up a bunch of other gameplay features for you to try out, including a new strike and Gambit map.
