Destiny 2: Hard Light Is Making Players Throw Up In Real Life

At this point, Bungie has brought a ton of old weapons (and armor) from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2. With every season, we are getting at least one old exotic weapons/armor back in the game. And with the addition to the catalysts, it just a cherry on top. Until now, Destiny 2 has Jade Rabbit, The Last Word, Thorn, MIDA Multi-Tool, Queensbreaker Bow, Lord of Wolves, Outbreak Perfected (was Outbreak Prime in Destiny 1), and Bad Juju. While these weapons are good and other somewhat usable, there are some exotics that are just terrible like – Hard Light.

In a Reddit thread, this user has mentioned that Hard Light’s screen shake is really making players vomit. And that’s actually true. If you play long enough with this weapon, you actually feel nauseous and want to throw up. The Reddit user said:

Move on to today, and I felt totally fine. No nausea. I hop back on, start grinding kills for the catalyst again, and lo and behold, I start feeling sick. Still not connecting the dots and after another trip to the toilet, I go and complain to my wife that I’m so close to completing this dumb catalyst, but I just can’t finish because I’m so sick. Being the nice person she is (she’s not really a gamer), she offers to finish the last 20% for me, and I go lay down.

Once I was feeling better, I asked her if she completed the catalyst. She told me she did, and said, “I know exactly why you felt sick. That gun shake is awful.” As soon as she said it, I knew it was true. The screen shake from Hardlight literally made me sick. Twice.

Bungie really needs to reduce the screen shakes on this exotic weapon. It’s such a unique weapon that no one uses right now. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!
