Destiny 2: How to Claim Cayde’s Stash and Forsaken Deluxe Edition Items

Those who pre-ordered Destiny 2’s recently launched Forsaken expansion are likely eager to claim the unique Cayde’s Stash bonus items they’re entitled to, and the same goes for those who invested in the expansion’s Deluxe Edition which comes with even more exclusive items. However, as has been the case with past Destiny pre-order items, claiming the exclusive Forsaken pre-order and Deluxe Edition goodies isn’t as simple as logging in and checking your inventory. If you want to access your trove of exclusive items, you’ll have to put in a little legwork first.

Claiming Cayde's Stash will require a little legwork.

Cayde’s Stash and Deluxe Edition Items

In case you have forgotten, here’s what’s included in the Cayde’s Stash pre-order pack:

  • The ‘Last Hand’ ornament for the Ace of Spades Exotic hand cannon
  • The ‘Queen of Hearts’ Exotic ship
  • The ‘Shades of Cayde-6’ cosmetic shader
  • The ‘Standoff’ emote

Similarly, those who bought Forsaken’s Deluxe Edition will also receive the following additional items:

  • The ‘Wrath Majestic’ ornament for the Arsenic Bite-4b bow
  • The ‘Vestian’ Ghost Shell
  • The ‘Dirge Paladin’ profile emblem

Claiming your items

You won’t be able to claim either the Cayde’s Stash or Deluxe Edition items until you finish the Forsaken expansion’s new story campaign. Once you’ve done that, visit Amanda Holliday in the Tower’s hanger and she’ll hand over the Cayde’s Stash items. The next time you return to orbit after finishing the campaign, you’ll also be given the Deluxe Edition items.

Unfortunately, even if you pre-ordered Forsaken and/or bought the Deluxe Edition, there’s some expansion content that will only be available to you if you’re playing on PlayStation 4. This content will remain exclusive to the PS4 platform for the upcoming year, an unfortunate stipulation of Sony’s timed exclusivity deal with Bungie. The silver lining is that the content which *was* PS4-exclusive during Destiny 2’s first year of operation is now freely available to players on all platforms, though we agree that’s not much of a consolation prize.
