Another week means another Invitation of the Nine for Destiny 2 players to pick up and complete. For the third week, players are sent to the planet Nessus to gather more samples and complete another Strike. As with previous Invitation of the Nine bounties, the week 3 bounty is only available to Annual Pass holders. Read on to find out what you need to do to complete the High Priestess bounty.
Destiny 2 High Priestess Invitation of the Nine Bounty
There are four objectives that need completing for the High Priestess bounty. Players must gather nine metaphysical samples from Vex, Cabal, and Fallen enemies on Nessus. They must also complete the Inverted Spire Strike, again on Nessus.
Samples and Strikes
Thankfully, players can once again kill two birds with one stone by doing the Inverted Spire Strike first. The Inverted Spire is chock full of Vex and Cabal enemies, and thus plenty of samples to gather. Metaphysical samples are automatically added to your inventory as you kill enemies, no need to pick any dropped items up. Just note that not every slain enemy drops a sample.
With the Strike taken care of, various Nessus Lost Sectors contain the three enemy types players need to kill. If you still need some Cabal samples head over to The Conflux which is located in Nessus’ Cistern region. For Vex samples you can hit up The Orrery in Artifact’s Edge. And finally for Fallen you can visit The Rift in the Exodus Black region.
Back to the Derelict
With all the objectives completed you’ll be sent back to The Drifter’s ship, The Derelict. You can access The Derelict by selecting the ‘Mystery and Potential’ node in the Gambit sub-screen. Travel through the portal and you’ll bear witness to a conversation between the Emissary and the Nine involving Queen Mara. Afterwards a chest containing a powerful gear piece will spawn, your just reward for another bounty completed.
