Destiny 2: Season Of Dawn Reveal Stream Announced For Next Week

It has been a while since we’ve received any new updates regarding the new upcoming season in Destiny 2. Prior to the Shadowkeep’s official launch, Bungie teased us with a glimpse of what season nine will be called after Season of the Undying and that is – Season of Dawn in Destiny 2. It was teased in one of the Video Documentaries released for the Shadowkeep.

Destiny 2: Season of Dawn – Start Date, Reveal Stream Schedule

Destiny 2 Season of Dawn

Bungie has released their weekly blog-post for this week a bit early. This is because of the Thanksgiving holidays coming up on this week’s Thursday and Friday. In terms of new stuff, it’s a bit light week. In This Week At Bungie, they announced the reveal stream of the next season in Destiny 2 – Season of Dawn.

“Season of Dawn begins December 10, 2019. We have a bit to talk about between now and then. Join us on Wednesday, December 4, at 10:00 a.m. PT for the reveal of a new season. Dawn is almost upon us.

As we can see, Season of Dawn will be officially revealed on December 4, 2019, at 10 AM Pacific. At this point, we don’t have a single clue on what this new season is about. We do know one of the best villains in Destiny 1 has been left behind such as – Atheon and Oryx. And if we read this line from one of Bungie’s older blog-post, it says:

By the end of the Season, the portals will close, the world state will change, and the Seasonal activity connected to it will go away. Yet something remains. This will be just in time for [REDACTED] to kick off the start of Season Nine—Season of Dawn.

We think that the portal that Ikora has built up will be somehow connected to the Season of Dawn. And by the term, “Yet something remains,” it kind of feels like this next season will be Vex themed as well. And if it is, we’re 90% sure that Atheon will make a return in Destiny 2. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, released on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
