Destiny 2: Two Years Later, Calus Still Isn’t Safe From Weapon Testers

When Destiny 2 was first dropped in 2017, Bungie delivered an amazing raid with it – Leviathan. Leviathan in Destiny 2 introduced the storyline for Emperor Calus and how he wants to become an ally with the Guardians. The raid itself has only one boss encounter that is – Calus himself (in a body of a robot) along with other challenges like The Gauntlets, Dogs, Baths, etc.

Destiny 2: Emperor Calus And Weapon Testers

Destiny 2 Calus Weapon Testers

Since Curse of Osiris, Destiny 2 players have been using Calus encounter in Leviathan as a weapon testing robot for new exotics and other powerful legendary weapons. Players like Sweatcicle, Gladd, Aztecross have been bullying Emperor Calus and our beloved Ogre – The Greg (on Titan) for weapon DPS numbers. Recently, Sweatcicle release a couple of videos of (you guessed it) melting Emperor Calus using Shadowkeep’s new Exotic weapons. I wonder how many of those Calus robots have left since they murdered most of them. Take a look at what a Fireteam of x6 Divinity (Exotic Trace Rifle) can do to the Leviathan’s final boss:

Now, let’s talk about Greg. If you don’t know about The Greg, he’s an Ogre in Cargo Bay 3 Lost Sector on Titan. Whenever Aztecross uploads a weapon DPS video, Greg becomes the main victim of it, dying at the hands of the Traveler’s Chosen. For instance, check out this video of Aztecross just brutally murdering Greg, The Ogre for his sole purposes:

Since we mourned for Calus and Greg, The Ogre, now let’s talk about the content creators. Since the release, these Destiny 2 content creators have been delivering some quality content regarding the new weapons’ DPS numbers, best weapon load-outs, etc. So, if you need any guidance on which weapon you should try next, I recommend you check out the above-mentioned content creators along with all the other YouTubers.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, released on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
