Diablo III: Eternal Collection Nintendo Switch Release Date Announced for November

The Diablo III: Eternal Collection release date for Nintendo Switch has been officially announced. You’ll be able to join your friends in the fight against the minions of hell both locally and online when it releases for the hybrid console on November 2, 2018. The game is also available for pre-order right now ahead of its launch in November.

It’s interesting that the Diablo III: Eternal Collection release date was revealed by Nintendo of America this morning, just before the rescheduled Nintendo Direct that was delayed from last Thursday. It certainly seemed like this release date would be a major announcement at the presentation later today so it is intriguing that it was revealed now.

Diablo III: Eternal Collection was originally announced last month with a short mini video that featured Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils Aime and Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime together for the official reveal. It came after several leaks and rumors surrounding the title. The video also features some unique looking Joy-Con’s so it is possible that we could see them revealed later today.

The Diablo III: Eternal Collection will come with all of the DLC and expansions that have released over the last few years for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will also come with its own Nintendo Switch-exclusive content. Players will be able to play as the fabled The Legend of Zelda villain Ganondorf as either a Barbarian or Crusader character.

It remains to be seen if we will see any other additional Nintendo Switch content for Diablo III: Eternal Collection later today during the rescheduled Nintendo Direct. If so, be sure to check back here for that potential news and any other major reveals that could be coming this afternoon. If you’re looking to watch the Direct live, check this post right here for the video.
