Dragon Age 4 Will Be Making An Appearance This Week, So Reports Say

Dragon Age 4 news has been scarce, but now we may have something a little more concrete. Dragon Age 4 at the Video Games Awards will be happening, and while this wasn’t reported I’d just like to say this: it’ll be definitely a reason for BioWare fans to watch. And even if you’re not a fan of BioWare and just want some fantasy RPGs in your life, be sure to tune in.

Hype aside, this information comes from VentureBeat. The site mentioned that BioWare executives and developers have been hinting at a return. And not just for Dragon Age, but for Mass Effect too.

Only recently did Casey Hudson state the following in a blog post.

“If you’ve been following these blogs, or myself and Mark Darrah (on Twitter), you know we’re also working on some secret Dragon Age stuff.”

It seems that Dragon Age stuff will be shown at the Video Game Awards 2018. But considering that Anthem has taken up a lot of BioWare’s resources and time… Will there be anything to show their fanbase?

Dragon Age 4 2021

Dragon Age at the Video Games Awards 2018

It’s been a long time since something new for Dragon Age has come out. Video game wise, at least. We’ve had comics, books, and even a board game – but nothing like what is being teased. Though that begs the question: what does BioWare plan to show?

Nothing has been confirmed about the game’s appearance at the Video Games Awards. However, VentureBeat also mentioned how long it may take for the new Dragon Age to appear in our hands. Apparently, it’ll be 3 years, which means 2021. Again, that has not been 100% confirmed but it makes sense considering how much effort is being put into Anthem. Dragon Age, after all, was pushed aside in order for the sci-fi shooter to be worked on first.

Regardless, we’ll (hopefully) know more by Thursday during the Video Games Awards show.
