EA Gives Madden 20 Update About Solo Battles Rewards Delay

A popular aspect of the Madden 20 game is the Ultimate Team mode. In this mode, gamers can assemble a team full of stars of the past, present, and future. From there, the sky’s the limit, as gamers can take that team into different challenges or compete online. With Solo Battles, gamers can rack up as many wins for points as possible to earn in-game rewards. On Monday, gamers were disappointed to find the rewards they typically receive weren’t there. EA has issued a Madden 20 update about the situation.

EA posts Madden 20 Update regarding Solo Battles Rewards

Mondays are usually the big day when gamers can log into Madden 20 Ultimate Team to receive their Solo Battles Rewards for the past week. Those rewards tend to include a certain number of Madden Coins, as well as Trophies, packs, and Weekend League entries. Last week, gamers participated in a limited-time House Rules style Solo Battles with Ultimate Legends cards also part of the rewards.

However, upon logging in throughout Monday, February 24, there were no rewards to be found. A Madden 20 update about the situation arrived online via the forum and then on Twitter for those who may have missed it.

Based on the Madden 20 update, gamers have to wait a few more days to collect their Solo Battles Rewards. On Wednesday, February 26, the rewards should be in Ultimate Team. In addition, the Solo Battles will start on that day with a “modified reward schedule,” per the tweet.

Madden community frustrated by the delay

Obviously, this Madden 20 update isn’t sitting well with many gamers who look forward to collecting rewards and using them towards upgrades for their Ultimate Team rosters. Many of the gamers expressed their frustration by replying in the tweet comments. Some even reported an issue with the way their rank and rewards levels were being shown.

“you know what this is BS – I do thank you for the heads up but I expected my rewards like everyone else today – now I can not upgrade what I wanted to because of this – I WANT MY DAMN REWARDS NOW not #soon,” one Twitter user commented.

“How about next year, instead of flashy new ideas like superstar abilities that come with neverending problems, @EA goes back to the basics so it can fix game play. This company gets to monopolize the football video game market. How about putting out a playable game?” another person commented.

“With the amount of time n money we’ve all spent on this game. This is honestly the most ridiculous year. Ik you’re just the messenger but wtf is going on over there? We need some serious compensation for all this,” another Twitter user replied.

There have been several other weeks in which there were issues with Solo Battles in terms of server disconnections or rewards delays, so it’s certainly understandable why loyal gamers would be upset. In one of the previous weeks, Madden 20 made up for the problem by giving double rewards. It’s going to be interesting to see what the Solo Battles Rewards will be for the next week to make up for these recent issues.
