EA Sports’ Super Bowl LIII Music Fest to feature Migos, Ludacris, & ATL hip-hop artists

As the NFL season continues on, gamers are simulating or playing out their own football seasons on Madden 19. Some have already reached the Super Bowl in the game, but in the NFL that will take place in Atlanta, Georgia in February 2019. As part of the celebration, EA Sports recently announced their lineup for the upcoming Super Bowl LIII Music Fest which will feature Atlanta hip-hop artists and of course, video games such as Madden 19.

Ludacris to headline EA Sports’ Super Bowl LIII Music Fest

None other than Atlanta’s own, Ludacris, will take the stage to start things off for this year’s EA Sports party. It’s officially been called the “Welcome to Atlanta Music Fest,” and will feature a number of artists from the city. Also on the schedule are Migos, Lil Yachty, Metro Boomin’, and Lil’ Jon. The latter of these two artists will perform together. Metro Boomin’ will take on DJ duties as Lil’ Jon helps get the crowd going.

A few of the artists on stage are also known for their work or contributions within Madden 19. Migos appears on the official Madden NFL 19 game soundtrack. Their song “Superstars” from “Culture II” is one of the 30 tracks on the soundtrack. They also provided an exclusive song, “They Can’t Win (Madden NFL 19)” just for the Longshot: Homecoming story mode of the game.

Lil Yachty is also featured as part of the Madden 19 soundtrack. He drops by to assist on Tee Grizzley’s song “Light” for the game’s music. Now fans will be able to see these artists perform their hits on stage to usher in the next Super Bowl.

In addition to that, other artists and special guests are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Since EA Sports provides hit games like Madden 19, NHL 19, UFC 3, NBA Live 19, and FIFA 19, it’s also part of the event for attendees to be able to play those games. It’s unknown right now if there will be any sort of competitive tournaments going on, but one has to think that Madden 19 could be featured in some way.
