EA’s FIFA 19 Ultimate Team Of The Week 4 Adds Mbappe, Lacazette, & Other Stars

Gamers learned on Wednesday about the latest FIFA 19 Ultimate Team of the Week. It’s quite a powerful and talented bunch too. The latest TOTW features a plethora of stars including well-known players such as Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lcazette, Hulk, and Ciro Immobile. The great part about this feature of the FIFA 19 gameplay is that these players are each receiving stat boosts based on top performances from the field.

Mbappe tops FIFA 19 Ultimate Team of the Week roster

EA revealed a total of 23 new players for their latest FIFA 19 Team of the Week. The Week 4 starting lineup alone boasts three players with overall ratings of 88, and nobody with lower than an 81. Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe leads the way, with Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi, and Lazio’s Ciro Immobile also on the squad. The entire TOTW roster is shown via EA’s tweet on Wednesday (below).

Mbappe racked up four goals as his team defeated Lyon, 5-1. So far, Paris-Saint Germain is off to a hot start in the Ligue 1 season with an impressive 9-0 record overall. Mbappe is part of a squad that also includes Neymar, one of the best FIFA 19 players in terms of rankings. However, the teenage forward is certainly making a major name in his own right.

With his addition to TOTW, Mbappe has seen all of his ratings numbers move up. In particular, he’s now moved up from an 81 Shooting to an 84, and from a 79 Passing to an 81. Overall, he’s now an 88 which puts him in a top-notch class within the game. He was already considered among FIFA 19’s fastest players. Could he continue his ascent to a 90 overall or better?

A few of the other players whose on-field performances earned them spots on the TOTW were Immobile and Lacazette. Lazio’s 1-0 win over Fiorentina was thanks to Immobile’s goal, while Lacazette racked up two goals in Arsenal’s recent 5-1 thrashing of Fulham.

How FIFA 19 Ultimate Team of the Week works

Each week of the season, EA reveals their latest FIFA 19 Team of the Week (TOTW). The team is based on “real life” performances the players put in during their actual games. Based on EA’s decisions, they build a team of worthy players who each get a ratings boosts. These teams feature starters, substitutes, and reserves like others teams in the game. So far, there have been four different TOTWs revealed at the EA Sports site.

Now that the Week 4 squad is official, gamers will need to challenge them on the field. It’s a great way to get special Team of the Week items within packs.  The TOTW lasts for a limited time, though, so gamers will need to get on the field and try to take down this latest squad.

The FIFA 19 game is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs.
