EA’s UFC 3 Ultimate Fright Team Event Begins With Monster Fighter Challenges
On Friday, October 19th, EA Sports revealed that the UFC 3 Ultimate Fright Team event is officially underway. The big event is similar to events EA unveiled for both Madden 19 and FIFA 19 on Friday involving Halloween themes and player ratings boosts. It’s a bit different for the UFC 3 game, though, as gamers will be trying to complete challenges in which they battle different monsters, complete challenges, and earn rewards.
What is the UFC 3 Ultimate Fright Team event?
The Ultimate Fright Team Event is part of the UFC 3 Ultimate Team on the game. In UFC 3 Ultimate Team, gamers are able to build teams of MMA stars ranging from real UFC fighters to their own customized fighters.
The Ultimate Team also features various challenges which help fighters boost their skills. These challenges also bring “in-game rewards.” There are also “thematic sets” which gamers can complete to trade in for items. Some of these may boost individual fighters or an entire team.
The Halloween-themed event features four different monster types with each of those categories featuring special rewards. Ultimately, gamers are able to add some fighters to their dream team. The latest event lasts from October 19 through November 16th.

How to participate in UFC 3 Ultimate Fright Team Event
Gamers can open a free Hunter pack from the UFC 3 store and use the items in those packs during Solo Challenges. They’ll need to complete Ultimate Fright Team Challenges in order to get collectibles that are part of Ultimate Fright Team Event Sets. If gamers defeat a challenge on the toughest difficulty level there is, they’ll earn “Elite tier” fighter items.
The first week of Solo Challenges involves taking on Zombies. The Zombie Hunter pack will help gamers to give their Hunter the power they need to get through the challenges. By defeating the challenges, gamers get Bounty and Trophy collectibles. These are used to get Gold and Elite Fright Team fighters!
Each week there’s a new Campaign Pack and they’ll specifically be about one of the four monster groups. Those groups are Abominations, Werewolves, Vampires, and Zombies.
The UFC 3 game is currently available on Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One. More information about the Ultimate Fright Team Event is available at EA Sports’ website.
