Elder Scrolls: Online Jester’s Festival Event Returns

The Jester’s Festival, quite possibly the silliest Elder Scrolls: Online event, is back! Live until the 2nd of April, players can participate in this event to get pie-based XP buffs and a host of silly rewards. In fact, players can even equip pies as ranged weapons and engage in slapstick pie fights in the streets of Tamriel’s cities.

Elder Scrolls: Online Event “Jester’s Festival” is Back

The Jester’s Festival is live in The Elder Scrolls: Online until 10:00 AM EDT on the 2nd of April. To participate, you’ll need to head to one of the pavilions which can be found outside Daggerfall, Ebonheart, and Vulkhel Guard. At any of these pavilions you can speak to one of the jesters to start “The Jester’s Festival” intro quest. This quest will reward you with The Pie of Misrule; a Memento which gives you a 100% buff to XP for 2 hours when you consume it. Each day, you can get a new daily quest from one of the jesters at each of the three pavilions. As such, you can complete three such quests each day.

Elder Scrolls Online Jester's Festival Event 2

The first time you complete a daily quest on any given day, you’ll receive a Jester’s Festival Stupendous Box. Each quest after that grants you a Jester’s Festival Reward Box. These contain a variety of silly rewards, including Cadwell’s Kitchen Arms Style Pages and Mementos like the Jester’s Festival Joke Popper. Plus, the reward boxes always contain the Jester’s Festival Pie.

These Festival Pies are actually projectiles rather than consumables. Equip them, and you can use them as humiliating weapons. Beware though; city guards might not take your merriment in good humour. This year’s Jester’s Festival actually has five new achievements related to these pies (see below). Completing Messy Business and The Upper Crust will reward you with the “Empieror,” and “Tin Soldier” titles. Completing Dessert Domination will grant you the Obnoxious Mute Face Paint. Last year’s event achievements will also be available.

  • Dessert Domination: Complete ‘The Three Fillings War,’ ‘The Upper Crust,’ and ‘More Than You Can Chew.’
  • Messy Business: Kill 10 players while they are covered in pie in Cyrodiil.
  • More Than You Can Chew: Thow 10 pies at guards.
  • The Three Fillings War: Throw 10 pies at players who are in different Alliances to you.
  • The Upper Crust: Throw a pie at each of the Alliance leaders.

Of course, this Elder Scrolls: Online event also gives you the opportunity to earn 24 more Event Tickets which can go towards the development of your Indrik. Finally, there are also new event-based items available in the Crown Store.
