Epic Games Hints At A Fortnite Volcano

Epic Games hasn’t added many map changes to Fortnite Battle Royale with season 6. However, the game developer did add the floating island which is constantly moving over the map. While this isn’t a big change, it appears that Fortnite players will get another map-changing event this season.

Due to data mined info, many players had believed that a Fortnite volcano would be added in season 6. Unfortunately, Epic Games had another plan, and that plan did not include a volcano. However, the game developer has hinted at this, so it won’t be surprising if we get a volcano by the end of the current season.

Epic Games has recently released Dark Bomber skin, which was the same skin shown in season 5, week 10 loading screen. This outfit is basically the dark variant of Brite Bomber, but it has been released as a separate skin. Fortunately, the skin only costs 1,200 V-Bucks, which makes it affordable for a wider audience.

The outfit comes with its exclusive back bling and Epic Games may have hinted at volcanoes in Fortnite with this item. As you can see in the image below, the back bling has a dragon-like llama on it. However, you can also notice active volcanoes and lava in the background.

The floating island is currently above Greasy Grove and it has activated the corrupted area rune. The island will keep moving over the map and activating all the runes left in season 5. Right now, no one knows what is going to happen after the activation of all runes. However, Epic Games may have revealed it to us with the latest skin.

After all, data miners have already found some files that are related to volcanoes. This could be a big map change at the end of season 6, or simply the way to introduce the next season.
