Everything You Need to Know About Call of Duty: Mobile Ranked Mode

With the recent launch of Season 3, ranked competitive play has finally arrived in Call of Duty: Mobile, thanks to the addition of ‘Ranked Mode’. Spanning both standard Multiplayer and Battle Royale, the new Call of Duty: Mobile Ranked Mode unlocks at level 7 and is available via a separate in-game menu.

The New Call of Duty: Mobile Ranked Mode

Call of Duty: Mobile Ranked Mode should seem relatively familiar to anybody with experience of ranked play in games like Modern Warfare or Apex Legends. Set into a separate lobby, Ranked Mode will now be the default for Battle Royale, but not for Multiplayer. While playing Ranked, any XP you earn will also boost your Rank XP. (With all players starting at the rank of Rookie I.) Note that Rank XP contributes to separate progression tracks for Ranked Battle Royale and Ranked Multiplayer.

In addition to the primary Rank progression, where you’ll be aiming to earn higher ranks and eventually reach Legendary, there is also Seasonal Rank. This separate progression track features season-specific rewards. As you play in Ranked, your Rank XP will contribute to both Rank and Seasonal Rank progression. Both of these will offer extra rewards as you rank up. While Multiplayer and Battle Royale will track ranks separately, the amount of XP needed to progress will be the same.

As one would expect, players in Multiplayer Ranked will be matched with players of similar rank. However, it’s unclear if the same is true for Battle Royale; a recent official post about Ranked Mode states clearly that players will match by rank; “in Multiplayer Ranked Mode,” but makes no mention of Battle Royale. Whatever the case, players will be able to track a plethora of stats about their performance from the Ranked menu. These include your Ranked K/D ratio, average score, matches played and matches won, consecutive wins, and your MVP title earned. You can also view additional stats separately for Battle Royale, such as your average damage and average survive time.
